This Italian Leather is a full-grain semi-aniline European hide with a light wax/oil impregnation. The combination of a light wax/oil impregnation and the tone-on-tone coloring gives the Cartier leather a slight pull-up effect and at the same time depth from the glossy finish.  The impregnation of these oils/waxes accentuate all the natural characteristics and any defects in the hides.  This is considered a natural distressed type of leather.  Cartier has a very nice soft hand with a waxy feel and a very smooth grain.
