Our new Novabuk leather imported from Italy and stocked in Sacramento.  This is a Nubuk (suede) leather that is stain resistant, UV protected and high wear resistance. 

This is obtained by taking a split leather from a European hide (very clean) with average 30 sf hide size and applying a thin Microfiber suede fabric to the surface. Very similar to Alcantara.
