This is a heavy weight leather that has a natural grain with a semi-aniline finish.  This leather has been slightly buffed and then a pigmented color has been applied.  The final finishing phase is the application of a wax that is applied in a drum.  The wax gives the leather a distressed look and very nice hand.  The action from the drum enhances the grain of this leather.
